Steering & Suspension
Balance, comfort and control are words that come to mind when talking about a vehicle's suspension. If your ride quality isn't what it used to be, then it may be time to revisit your steering and suspension parts. These parts are typically not included in the manufacturer's warranty as they are normal wear and tear parts. Think you may have some steering and suspension issues?
Here a few tell tale signs regarding your car's suspension:
noise when driving over bumps in the road
vehicle bouncing
hard turning
uneven tire wear
wheels wandering
Brakes
How often are you checking your brakes? A vibrating steering wheel is a sure sign of warped rotors. Does your car squeal or come to a grinding halt at red lights? It may be time to replace your brake pads. The bad news is that these parts aren't typically included in a car's warranty as they are all preventative maintenance / wear and tear items that need to be replaced.
Making sure you and your passengers are safe is priority one. When you're faced with the hazards on the road, you need to make sure you're equipped with stopping power.
Brake pads and brake shoes are the linings that actually do the stopping when you put your foot on the brake pedal. Brake pads are pressed against the rotor by the brake caliper, and brake shoes are pressed against the brake drum by the wheel cylinder. Their special friction compounds are designed to handle immense forces during every braking situation. Over time that lining wears away and needs to be replaced. Putting off replacing pads and shoes can mean decreased braking ability, as well as serious damage to rotors and drums.
Disc brake rotors take tremendous amounts of punishment during normal driving. While the disc brake pads are designed take the brunt of the braking force, over time the brake rotor surface itself will also wear away. Just changing brake pads without paying attention to rotor thickness can lead to less effective overall braking. When brake rotors become too thin for service or too warped to turn, the best solution is a pair of new rotors. Just like brake pads, brake rotors should be
replaced in pairs to provide balanced braking.
The disc brake caliper is responsible for both holding the brake pads, and holding the pistons that force the disc brake pad against the disc brake rotor during braking. Dirt, debris, and road salt take their toll on braking components. Over time disc brake calipers can leak brake fluid or the caliper pistons can freeze-up, greatly reducing overall braking efficiency. A failing brake caliper can even cause erratic handling during braking.

Exhaust
Is your car louder than normal?
Something hanging down under your car?
Your exhaust is one of the most important components of your vehicle. It is responsible for making sure that all the harmful gasses created by your engine exit the vehicle. When your exhaust is leaking or broken those poisonous gases could be entering your vehicle and may cause serious health concerns.
You also have your emissions sensors in your exhaust which can go bad and cause your check engine light to come on.
Lights Bulbs / Light Assemblies
Light bulbs for automobiles are made in several standardized series. Bulbs used for headlamps, turn signals and brake lamps may be required to comply with international and national regulations governing the types of lamps used. Other applications such as auxiliary lamps or interior lighting may not be regulated, but common types are used by many automotive manufacturers.
It is strongly suggested to replace bulbs in pairs. If one bulb in the system burns out the other in the system is likely to do the same soon.
Broken lenses pose a hazard to you and others on the road. Broken and/or cracked lenses may fail state inspection as well. In these cases more often than not the entire assembly will need replaced.
Headlight Restoration
Headlight restoration or plastic headlight restoration is the act of refinishing aged headlight lenses that have become discolored or dull due to oxidation primarily due to UV light and other environmental factors such as road debris impact rain, and exposure to caustic chemicals.
